After losing one of his projected starters to injury, Atlanta Braves manager Bobby Cox got a boost with some solid outings Thursday. Tim Hudson allowed one earned run during four innings and struck out three during a 5-3, 10-inning loss to the New York Yankees. Relievers Mike Gonzalez and Rafael Soriano also had good days.
