Buddy Carlyle went nearly eight years between the first and second wins of his big league career. It was worth the wait. The journeyman pitched one-hit ball over seven innings and claimed his first win since 1999 when Jarrod Saltalamacchia and Chris Woodward went back-to-back with homers that carried the Atlanta Braves past the Florida Marlins 3-1 in the first game of a doubleheader Tuesday.
