The Atlanta Braves will call up 49-year-old first baseman Julio Franco and two other minor leaguers when the rosters expand Saturday. The team also will promote reliever Royce Ring and catcher Brayan Pena from Triple-A Richmond. Ring, a left-hander, was acquired from San Diego on July 31 for two relievers — Wil Ledezma and Will Startup.
