Estella Aaron, the mother of baseball Hall of Famer Hank Aaron, has died. Susan Bailey, assistant to the former Atlanta Braves star, said Tuesday the funeral will be Saturday in Mobile, Alabama, where Mrs. Aaron lived most of her life. Funeral home officials in Mobile said she died Monday in Atlanta. Her age or cause of death was not immediately released Tuesday.
