Atlanta Braves right-hander John Smoltz reported no discomfort in his right shoulder after allowing one hit in one inning on a rehab assignment with the Double-A Mississippi Braves on Saturday night. Smoltz threw 12 pitches, eight for strikes, in the eighth inning against the Tennessee Smokies. Smoltz was placed on the 15-day disabled list on April 28.
